About Us
At the Fremont Ballet School, our students always come first. We are dedicated to offering each student the dance education that best fits their needs and learning style. We encourage our students to challenge themselves through their dancing; each day is an opportunity to improve physically, mentally, and emotionally. We are aware that each student is unique and believe each student deserves an equal opportunity regardless of age, gender, race, or financial position. We advocate a positive learning environment that promotes self-confidence and the use of oneβs internal voice as a means of expression.
As far as dance technique, we hold ourselves to a high standard of dance education that includes expansive, precise, and accurate training. Our teachers are educated and experienced; they strive to provide their students with the best training they can offer. Although dance technique is an important part of our educational philosophy, we also believe dance is a discipline that can foster passion, perseverance, creative thinking, physical fitness, and teamwork.
The Fremont Ballet School has been proud to provide dance education to the greater Fremont area since 1964. We are fostering the love and knowledge of dance of generations past, present, and future.
our Facility
In 2025, the Fremont Ballet School took the leap and found a new space in Fremont to call home. Our previous home had seen generations of dancers walk through its doors. Dancers called 405 E. State Street home for over 5 decades. Together we danced, laughed, cried, sweat, bled, celebrated, and even grieved at our beloved ballet school. Mr. Hillenbrand built a strong foundation (literally, built with his own two hands) and now, together, we have taken his lifeβs work and dream to the next level.
Our new home is located at 1201 Oak Harbor Road on the west side of Fremont. The new location offers ample space, and will boast the following amenities:
β’ two dance studio rooms, each one larger than our previous studio space with professional shock absorbing dance floor
β’ a large lobby and waiting area big enough to accommodate all parents/guardians who wish to wait inside during class
β’ spaces for βdressing roomsβ/student waiting areas
β’ designated newly paved parking lot with 30+ parking spaces steps away from our front doors
